ABOUT
Naz Karahan is a fashion designer, creative director, and design consultant specializing in fashion design, brand development, and creative direction.
She graduated from the Fashion and Textile Design Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and continued her education at Istituto Marangoni Milano through a scholarship awarded by the Turkish Ministry of Economy. She also studied at Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma as part of her international education.
During her academic years, she received several design awards, including the Koza Young Fashion Designers Competition. Her work has been presented at Mercedes-Benz Istanbul Fashion Week and Istanbul Design Week.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with luxury and contemporary fashion brands, including Desa under the creative direction of Italian designer Yossi Cohen, NU, and Moeva London, working as a Senior Fashion Designer across womenswear, menswear, leather goods, and activewear.
Since 2021, she has been the co-founder of KUELA Studio, a multidisciplinary textile art and design practice. Alongside her studio work, she partners with fashion brands worldwide as a Creative Director, Fashion Designer, and Brand Consultant, guiding projects from brand strategy and collection development to technical design, manufacturing, and creative direction.
